Origami Reference Finder respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is stored on your device and how it is handled when you use the app.

Origami Reference Finder does not collect or transmit personal data to servers operated by the app’s developer. No registration, user account, or personal information is required.

The app works offline and does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, or microphone. It does not include advertising, tracking tools, or third-party usage analytics.

For convenience, the app stores recent searches locally, including the parameters needed to repeat them. This history remains within the app’s storage on your device and can be deleted from within the app.

How We Use Information

The values you enter are used solely to calculate origami reference points and lines, generate diagrams, and display folding instructions.

All calculations take place on your device. Local search history allows you to review and repeat previous searches. We do not use this information for profiling, advertising, or tracking.

Sharing Information

The app does not automatically transmit your searches or search history to third parties.

If you use the sharing feature, you choose what content to send and which app or service to use. Any subsequent handling of that content is governed by the selected service’s terms and privacy policy.

The app may include links to external websites, such as those of the original authors or the project repository. When you open these links, the privacy policies of those websites apply.

Data Security

Search history is stored within the app’s container and is subject to iOS security protections. Whether app data is included in device backups depends on your device settings and the Apple services you use.

You can delete your search history from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage, although data may remain in previous backups.

We recommend protecting your device with a passcode and keeping your operating system and the app up to date.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app’s functionality or privacy practices. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Significant changes will be communicated through available channels, including the app where appropriate.
